CHAFFEE MCCALL LAW TRIP

Today I fished with Bill, Logan, Stephanie and Katie witg McCaffee McCall Lawfirm in New Orleans.
We launched from Lafitte Harbor Marina at 6:30 am and headed back at the dock with our days catch of 13 nice Redfish. A great time was had by all, including myself.
I want to thank Bill for taking his crew out with us and look forward to fishing with you guys again soon.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 25th, 2011
Today I fished with Mike Smith from Alabama and his assocaiates, Todd and Steve.
We launched from Lafitte Harbor Marina at 6:30 am. and had no problem limiting out for the day with some good looking Reds.
A great time was had by all and I enjoyed having you guys down.

TUESDAY, MAY 24th, 2011
Today I fished with Gill Blanchard and his group from Baton Rouge.
We launched from Lafitte Harbor Marina at 6:30 am. The day proved to be a favorable day for catching Reds. We headed back to the dock with 13 nice Redfish and a Flounder.

Today I fished with Tommy, Drew, Theo and Phil.
We launched from Lafitte Harbor Marina at 6:30 a.m. to hook some Redfish. With winds blowing we headed out into the marshes.
By the end of the day we landed 20 nice Reds.

Our good friend Bevo Gandy and his group came down from Mississippi for some fishing action.
A great time was had by all while landing some beautiful Reds. At the end of the day, we headed back to the dock with 2 boat loads of Reds!

We headed out to the marshes to catch Redfish. We had a great day on the water and caught some really nice Reds. Both boats limited out each day.

Captains Todd and Alden and myself fished with Glenn Weldon and his associates for 2 days.
Tuesday’s conditions were prefect for catching trout. By day’s end each boat headed back to the dock with 70-75 nice trout.
Wednesday’s winds were not very favorable for trout and Redfish was on the day’s agenda. All Captains headed back to the dock with boat limits of Redfish.

JIM SMITH’S TRIP

MAY 12th-14th, 2011
Mr. Jim Smith’s family and friends, Bob Parrot, Joe Dunbar, James Witherspoon, Jim Knight, Kenneth Knight, Romaine Knight, Derbert Dilworth, Sr., and Derbert Dilworth, Jr. fished with myself and Captains Corey, Mike, Chet, Chris and Todd for 3 days.
On Thursday, the winds were calm enough for catching trout, so I headed out with Jim and Ron to do just that. We ended the day with 70 trout and Captains Corey, Mike, Chet, Chris and Todd bringing back boat limits of Redfish.
Friday and Saturday’s conditions weren’t favorable for trout, so we headed out to catch Reds.
All Captains had a great day by ending both days with boat limits of Reds.

ADAM & LINDSEY’S TRIP

MONDAY, MAY 9th, 2011
Today I had the opportunity to fish with Adam, his wife Lindsey and friends Matt and Matt from the New Orleans area.
We launched from Lafitte Harbor Marina at 6:45 a.m. and headed out to Barataria Bay to try out the Speckled Trout. With the dirty water and the winds blowing out of the Southwest at 12 mph, we managed get 8 Speckled Trout and a flounder into the boat.
We then headed out to the marshses in Myrtle Grove and caught 13 nice Reds.
We headed back to the dock with 8 Speckled Trout, 13 nice Reds and a flounder.
Eventhough the winds have been giving us a diffucult time over the last 5 weeks, we had a good day.

FRIDAY, MAY 6th, 2011
Today I fished with John and Joyce from Connecticut. After battling the winds over the last 5 weeks, today was the first day in May that proved itself. We launched from Lafitte Harbor Marina at 7 am and headed out to Barataria Bay. With the winds light and variable and the water clear, it was a perfect day on the water. We headed back to the dock with our boat limit of Speckled Trout, 12 Reds and a Black Drum.
With days like today, it will only get more exciting!
