A Perfect Speckled Trout Day

Today I had the opportunity to fish with Terry Theriot, Mike Garrett, Johnny Landry and Lonnie Theriot from Baton Rouge. Trout was on everyone’s mind and the day proved just right for what we set out to accomplish in Four Bayou Pass, brining the days catch to 108 beautiful Trout! As you can see in our pictures, this great group of guys, me included, couldn’t have asked for a more ideal day. This was definitely one to remember. Fantastic job you guys! It was my pleasure fishing with you all and I look forward to doing it again in the future.

We had a great trout fishing trip with Capt. Scott. The conditions were not ideal due to the west wind and not much tide movement but Scott put us the fish after just two stops. We caught some nice trout as you can see from the photo. Capt. Scott is a very professional and knowledgeable guide and I would recommend him highly to anyone wanting to fish the Lafitte area. Now this the way to fish. Just step into the boat and fish till you are tried of reeling in fish then just step out of the boat and take home a ice chest of full of trout fillets. No work involved just fun. Will go again with Scott for sure.
